Two very rare items belonging to and owned by the late Elsa Schiaparelli. Both the sunglasses and Jewellery case have been exhibited at two world renowned museums. The first exhibition was "Framed by Ted Noten" from May - September 2013 at the Stedelijk Museum Contemporary Art & Design in the Netherlands. The Second was the 'Women, Fashion, Power" exhibition held between October 2014 - April 2015 at the design Museum London. All relevant correspondence between us and the Museums will be part of the sale.

The Jewellery Box - Elsa Schiaparelli's black ostrich skin travel jewellery case, probably 1950s, the lock stamped 'Gross England', lined in tan suede with lift out tray with compartments, embossed with her initials in gold, complete with storm cover, together with copies of original nursing invoices. Provenance: given by Elsa Schiaparelli to her nurse Madame Kiledjian in Paris in the early 1970s during her final illness. Included are copies of invoices for providing nursing services to Elsa Schiaparelli dated 9th and 16th November, 1973. Elsa Schiaparelli passed away in November, 1973. Measurements 31cm Length x 20cm deep x 11.5cm height.

The Sunglasses - Elsa Schiaparelli's prescription sunglasses, signed to one arm 'Schiaparelli', the blue-tinted lenses below white and blue awning-style panels with pastel blossom flowers to the sides, in original case, with copies of original nursing invoices. Measurements 14cm wide x 5.3cm height x 13cm arm length.
